SHELL & SHELL ART EVENTS

A SHELL SHOW is where people exhibit interesting shells (scientific exhibits) and/or art constructed from shells (artistic exhibits) to compete for awards. SHELL SHOWS are generally organized by SHELL CLUBS (a group of people who love shells) or a shell related organization. Most SHELL SHOWS now include artistic exhibits however, if this is a particular interest of yours, you should check with the organization holding the show to confirm artistic exhibits will be included. Some SHELL SHOWS have other activities as well - such as demonstrations, children's educational activities/exhibits and the sale of shells and/or shell art. Again, you should always check with the organization holding the show to confirm all show activities.
