Hurricane Sandy hit Westport, CT with a vengeance. At the time of this post, CT Light & Power reported an estimated 10,607 or 85 percent of Westport residents lost power. Power restoration and road clean ups are well underway. Burying Hill Beach is 2.39 acre park situated on Westport's affluent Beachside Ave. These photos of Burying Hill Beach after the storm show nature's wrath.
